Hi Creative Tim - I've scoured the downloads but can't seem to locate the sketch files. Could you help me find them? Thanks!

Hello @brucehurchill and thank you for your interest in using our product. I think that you have bought the HTML PACKAGE (only the code) and not the HTML + SKETCH PACKAGE (code + sketch files). When you've pressed the buy now button you were prompted with this options, and i believe that you've took the HTML PACKAGE. But no worries, just send us an email on our contact if you want to pay the difference for the SKETCH files here: https://www.creative-tim.com/contact-us . Best, Manu.

Hey creative-tim I recently purchased this dashboard and I went to run it as a local build and I keep getting "To get started, edit src/App.js and save to reload" I went through your readme and I saw that you changed the file to the index file and I renamed to see if that fixed the error and it doesn't any thoughts? Trying to get out of a PICKLE, Rick

Hello @darrickumphrey and thank you for your interest in using our product. Can you please just download the product and run <<npm install && npm start>> ? I am not sure what App.js are you talking about. Best, Manu.

This theme is just amazing. I just wish it was based on Bootstrap 4 (and preferably reactstrap). Now UI Dashboard PRO React is quite nice looking too, but this Light one is just perfect.

Hello there @michalwysocki and thank you for your interest in using our products. As of moment we are waiting for react-bootstrap to release a version on bootstrap 4. Best, Manu.

Hello, what is SKETCH PACKAGE?

einazare
  • owner

Hello there @gabriel.souza and thank you for your interest in working with our products. The HTML + Sketch contains the code, this code can be pure HTML with SCSS and JS files or HTML/SCSS/JS + Angular/Vue.js/ReactJS coded files, depending on the product that you get, and extra Sketch Files which can be used by a designer from your team. The flow will be something like: the designer is using the files to create a fast prototype, then you talk about that prototype with the developer's team or you show that prototype to a client if everything is fine, you then start to code. You can read more about Sketch here: https://www.sketchapp.com/ . Best, Manu.

Hello there @antonio.beyah . Thank you for your interest in working with our products. Yes, we do plan to migrate it to Bootstrap 4 and latest React, but no plan for this has been done as of moment. We are awaiting react-bootstrap to release their support for BS4. There are a lot of differences between this products. Light Bootstrap was done using the react-bootstrap framework, while Material was done using the Material-UI framework. Also, the stylings are very different as you can see. The Light Bootstrap was done using scss, while the Material was done using some sort of jss, and scss. You can see the differences between these two products, by downloading both free versions ( <<https://www.creative-tim.com/product/light-bootstrap-dashboard-react>> and <<https://www.creative-tim.com/product/material-dashboard-react>> ), and see there. Best, Manu.
