You can use our products to create an application where the end user is charged with a monthly/annually subscription plan (SaaS - Software as a Service).
The Freelancer license is aimed at people who work on their own. It grants you the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

Also, the differences between our 3 types of Licenses is given by the Tech Support / Free Updates availability and Team Size.

More info here.
The differences between the Free and Pro products consists of the number of components, plugins, sections, pages in each.

More info here.
You can upgrade from one license plan to the next one whenever you want simply by paying the cost difference. You only have to send us an email in which you specify the product that you have and the Order ID. We will give you an unique coupon for the upgrade.

More info here.
Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

I am working with your React Pro Dashboard and I am curious, do you have documentation on how to wire up the event ids that are listed in your example HeaderLinks.jsx file around the menu items? If this is not the place to ask the question, can you point me to documentation or support for wiring up the dashboard?

ctmployee
  • downloaded

Hello again @ruetheday6969 . You can read about eventKeys here: https://react-bootstrap.github.io/components.html#menu-items . There is a function that you have to attach to the menu items so you can get the eventKey prop (the function is named onSelect - you will find out about it in the above official documentation). I hope this is what you are looking for, and if you have any other questions, please let us know how we can help you. Best, Manu.

Hello again @ruetheday6969 , the link above does not work anymore because the gauys from react-bootstrap have changed their routes. The new link is https://react-bootstrap.github.io/components/dropdowns/#menu-items . Best,Manu.

Hello @mohammad.aljobairi . As of yet, we do not have support for RTL. We've started to work on this matter but it will take some time, because of the multiple components that have to be restyled. All the best, Manu!

Odd question, but which of your templates is the most SEO friendly?

ctmployee
  • downloaded

Hello @tony.montanajan . All our products use in the right way the h1, h2, div, p etc. tags for SEO, so you can use any of our products. You should know that this is just a small part of what a site should do for SEO, you would also need http://schema.org/docs/schemas.html and sitemap (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Site_map) . These two aren't in the design of a site (which we provide). I hope this is the answer you were looking for, and if you have any other questions, please let us know how can we help you. Best, Manu!

Hi, can you point me to the documentation for using the template to control a user experience? In other words, I would like to pop the dashboard up, provide a login page if the user has not logged in and once logged in load the rest of the dashboard. While you provide the pages for the dashboard etc., I am unclear of how I would bring up the login page as the default page. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated and until then I will continue to look at some of the routes to see if that is where I can control the login.

ctmployee
  • downloaded

Hello @ruetheday6969 . If you take a look inside "/src/routes/app.jsx" you will see that at line 8 we set the default route (meaning "/") to go on the "Dash" container ("/src/containers/Dash/Dash.jsx") and then, here it is set to redirect the "/" route to "/dashboard" (see "/src/routes/dash.jsx" line 59). For you to put the login page as the default page you would have to change the this line (line 59 in dash.jsx) to redirect to the login page ( you have to change line 59 from << { redirect: true, path: "/", pathTo: "/dashboard", name: "Dashboard" } >> to << { redirect: true, path: "/", pathTo: "/pages/login-page", name: "Login Page" } >> . Hope this information helps you. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. All the best, Manu.

Ok, that part I followed, what about tracking login state, how is the best way to do that..for example...user has logged in and is authenticated..so I can control what is shown on the other pages. Is there a separate forum I can post these questions to for support?

ctmployee
  • downloaded

@ruetheday6969 , you can open an issue on github here: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/lbd-pro-react/issues . As for the other question, you could keep a variable (a state variable i would suggest) in your most outer class (in our demo you could do that in App.jsx (src/containers/App/App.jsx) and then send this variable to it's children or something like that (i'm sorry for this, i don't really know how you would use it, it's just a suggestion). What i would suggest is that you should keep it hash-ed if you want to keep sensitive data (i would try to use this: https://github.com/emn178/js-sha256 or something similar). Best, Manu.

@ctmployee So I am working on this same issue. Having trouble with {appRoutes.map((prop, key) => { return <Route path={prop.path} component={prop.component} key={key} />; })} I want to pass my auth state down when mapping over this function. Normally I would pass <Dash authed={this.state.authed} /> but having trouble when mapping over these routes as any changes affect other route mapping down stream. Any ideas here?

ctmployee
  • downloaded

Hello @mhooper72 . To pass down props to the routes, you need to change <Route path={prop.path} component={prop.component} key={key} /> to <Route path={prop.path} render={routeProps => <prop.component {...routeProps} authed={this.state.authed}/>} /> . I hope this makes sense. Best, Manu.

Your product looks awesome, but before I take the plunge I'd like to check out the documentation to see how easy it would be for me to use. Could you provide a link please (or if I missed it, point me in the right direction)? I'm particularly interested to understand more about the React libraries that you provide (what's provided, how to use them, etc.). Thanks!

Hi again @einazare. I see that you have a Vue version of this dashboard available. I'm trying to choose between Vue and React for our app (currently I don't know either). For someone who is new to both Vue and React, do you have any suggestions about which way to go? If we used your dashboard, is one version easier to use than the other? I see that react-bootstrap doesn't support Bootstrap 4 yet, which is presumably why your React dashboard doesn't. However, I see that your Vue dashboard does. So, is Vue a better way to go? Thanks!

ctmployee
  • downloaded

@timmbx , i can not really tell you what would be easier. I can tell you that i haven't work with Vue, so i'm not sure what to tell, but i can tell you that i've learned React while creating the Light Bootstrap Dashboard React Free (https://www.creative-tim.com/product/light-bootstrap-dashboard-react) . The best advice i can give you, is that you could take both free versions of this product on both of these frameworks (React: https://www.creative-tim.com/product/light-bootstrap-dashboard-react --- and Vue: https://www.creative-tim.com/product/vue-light-bootstrap-dashboard) and see which one you understand better. If you want bootstrap 4, then the choice is easy, you should go with Vue. Best, Manu.
