I think there is a typo in the left menu sidebar "widges" > "widgets"?

@fjanon yes, you're right, there is a typo. We will fix it in the next v1.0.1 update, which will come in a couple of days. Best, Alex!

Hi @axelut. I downloaded the free versión a few days ago, and it is absolutelly great, and i want to buy the pro version, but i need it with angular CLI... When you think the CLI versión will be ready? By the way... congrats for your job, it is so hard to find a good template that integrates, correctly, all the angular sintax

@abeltran @a.sinc at this moment we are preparing the launch of LBD Pro Angular 2 CLI (https://www.creative-tim.com/product/light-bootstrap-dashboard-pro-angular2). As soon as we release this, we will start working for the CLI of MDPro Angular 2. We will have an update v1.0.1 Wednesday with some small fixes, then CLI will come probably next week. Hope this information helps you. Best, Alex!

Hi, I really like this template. Does it come with a nice landing page, like Material Kit Pro for instance (http://demos.creative-tim.com/material-kit-pro/examples/landing-page.html)? I could not find it in the live preview. Thanks. Eric

alexpaduraru
  • downloaded

@eric.louet thank you for your interest in our product. The Landing Page and other presentation pages like About Us, Team, Products Page, Blog etc. come with Material Kit PRO, not with the Dashboard. We made it in this way so you can use the Dashboard for the Admin/CMS part of your site, and the UI Kit for the presentation part. In this way you don't have 1 single big CSS, it is split between 2 products. You have an example of a landing page in Material Kit Free: http://demos.creative-tim.com/material-kit/examples/landing-page.html or you can get the Material Kit PRO. If you want to get both MKP and MDP just let us know and we will give you 50% discount on the second product. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. Best, Alex!

The template looks amazing but, where is the update you promise?. I want to buy it but I notice that you update the template so slowly, I need Angular CLI and fixes before my purchase. Thanks!

@mdb87 the update was just released. We are working now on the CLI version rebuilt with only Angular 2 components. It should come in 2-3 weeks. The new structure will be like this one: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/lbdp-test-login Please check it and let us know if it is a good option for you. Best, Alex!

Why have you guys added jquery and its supported plugins? Angular manipulates the shadow DOM to make faster renders whereas Jquery touches the DOM each time for a small operation... making the UI slower... It would be nice If you could remove jquery and make everything in pure Angular

I agree with you

@sparkmeout007 and @alejandrovc MD Pro Angular 2 was built on top of MD Pro HTML, which was using a lot of jQuery. We implemented it because we've got a lot of requests from users who wanted the Angular2 and we wanted to help them. Then, after the initial release, we've got a lot of feedback for the jQuery and the current implementation which made us think that we have to build the Angular 2 version from scratch using less or 0 jQuery plugins. At this moment we have a new structure using CLI and it will look like this one: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/lbdp-test-login. We are working on this and we will release the update to Angular CLI and more "Angular components style" at the end of May. Please check the GitHub repo and let us know if that is the best option. Thank you, Alex!

Correct me if I am wrong ... This doesn't count as "Angular Version" , this theme controls the view using all jQuery for god sake . You just build it under the component structure . but without using the real Angular power , I am disappointed and want refund : ( . Unless you guys are planning to using real Angular to rebuild this in 1 month .

alejandrovc

I think the same, it doesnt take advantage of angular 2 real power, is just jQuery like you say. Everything is done with jQuery, neither included features in angular 2 package like validations are done with angular. I prefer a refund too if it doesnt change in a near future.

@axelut I am with the above, Ive checked the components and its not Angular, quite disappointing, do you plan to re-write in Angular? If not, are you able to provide a refund? Cheers

@joe.lee @alejandrovc @a.sinc thank you for using our product and sorry to hear that it is now as you expected. How I described in the other comments, we've built MDPro Angular 2 as we had too many requests from our customers who wanted to migrate MD Pro HTML to Angular 2, and we just wanted to help them in the development process. It seems that the Angular 2 that we've built is not in the best format and it is requesting more adjustments and changes. We noted all the feedback that we get and based on that we started to work for a new structure with different layouts, less jQuery, and components that are coming from typescript, not from HTML. The new structure can be checked here: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/lbdp-test-login We will use this structure to work on MD Pro Angular CLI. Please check it and let us know if this is the right direction. And if you have any other feedback for this new structure please write it here and we will include it in the next release. We will release the new product in 2-3 weeks. Hope you understand this case and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Best, Alex!

@alexpaduraru I think it should "none" jQuery , there's no reason using Angular & jQuery at same time . If you use both at same time can caused performance issue I believe , and it's hard to maintain . Most important : developer will have a hard time implement in their own Angular project if their team/client have strict guideline like mine . We strictly forbidden using jQuery and Angular at same project . But this is just my opinion , you guys did a great job on building this . If your team decide still need some jQuery to achieve the effect you wish to bring ( which I believe Angular can achieve as well at most situation ) . I am afraid I will still ask for a refund . Cause in mine case , my client is picky and only accept pure Angular project .

Another way is make sure jQuery usage is fully , detailed revealed in the documentation and just for decoration or sth doesn't crash the application when I doesn't include jQuery in my project . So the developer can modify them-self .

@joe.lee got it, that makes perfect sense. Now, as we know all these things we will change the product accordingly. This is the only way we can improve the products that we give you, based on the feedback that we get from you. Since we used the MD Pro HTML which was 100% based on jQuery we thought this would be the right way for Angular too. The hard part at this moment is to find Angular Libraries that can replicate the jQuery versions. Any suggestions on this? Best, Alex!

@alexpaduraru I am sorry I don't know this kind of things : ( . If I am doing this , I will just use full Angular to rewrite the web-app . This takes time no doubt .
