Hi, Is it possible to use with angular4 ? If so, how could the migration be done? thanks

Yes, will you port it to ng4? It should be essentially the same where ng4 is considerably faster and produces less code. Afaik you'd only need to change some imports and most of your code should still work.

@paulocoliver at this moment we are using only Angular 2, we have in plan to prepare for the v1.3.0 the Angular 4 compatibility. We wanted to do what you already did because we read in the official documentation that the migration from 2 to 4 is smooth but it was not that smooth. So we have to make some more changes in order for it to work with Angular 4. Please stay tuned, we will announce when we release that. Best, Alex!

Please update to real angular. (Not jquery wrapper). This theme is useless for my team, since this is not real angular. Because of that, you get some problem when you were upgrading to ng4.

@efriandika thank you for the feedback. This is our plan too. The problem that we had at this moment is that the plugins that we wanted to use, like FullCalendar, Datatables.net, Charts etc. don't have a version for Angular. We've seen that their creators don't have plans to migrate them to Angular so we have to wait till some good libraries for tables, calendar, charts etc. will be created using native Angular. Do you have any libraries on pure angular that can replace our jQuery libraries? I would be glad to check them and integrate them in our dashboard. Best, Alex!

DataTable does not seem to work in angular-cli version. Could you please check this out? Each time any sort function is clicked, the data disappears.

@sm9s6 thank you for pointing out. We are doing some tests and will come back with a quick fix soon. Please stay tuned. Thank you! Alex!

Also, is it possible to provide sketch/design files for this so designers can use it to mock-up templates

alexpaduraru

@sm9s6 we are in the process of creating the PSD files at this moment. In our team, we first do the code, then we do the design, it's inverted :D We will add those files in the package as soon as they are ready. It will take us around 2 weeks to have it 100% covered. Best, Alex!

I'm a backend developer, but I like to play with the frontend, just one thing I noticed is the login.html, lock.html and register.html pages, why to those have to be standalone html pages which pull a bunch of libraries, and the header and footer code is duplicated in all three?. is that a practice since the user is not logged in yet? i've seen other apps there /login and /register are another path in the application. just wondering.

For instance, I created an authentication service, and a sign up service, but because the login and signup pages are static html pages outside the angular app, I cannot use these new services. is it the same way in the angular.js version vs angular2? I'm thinking I'll probably be better off using the angularjs version.

@tony.montanajan thank you for using our product and sorry for the late response. It seems you are checking the ng2 folder. On that version, we used to have the login/register/lock on static pages because we taught that it would be better to have them outside of the Dashboard's session. Then after we've got feedback from our customers we realized that it is better to have 2 layouts, 1 with a session, 1 without session and everything to be controlled inside the same application. Taking that into consideration + other feedback, like moving the plugins from our folders to the package.json we made the CLI version which is way better than the regular one. So please download again the latest version v1.2.1 where you will find the CLI. In this version, all the pages are inside the same application so you have better control over the session. Please let us know if we can guide you with any other information. Best, Alex!

Hey, why can't I see 27 example pages on Pro version?

alexpaduraru
  • downloaded

@gatoasang.94 thank you for using our product and sorry for the late response. All the example pages are the sub-categories and the pages from the left sidebar, examples like: login, register, lock, wizard, maps, vectormaps, tables, datatables, fullcalendar etc. Basically all the examples of how to use plugins. Then you can also customize the elements, colors etc so you can create more examples than what we gave you. Please let us know if we can help you with any other information. Best, Alex!
