Hi any chance of creating a ReactJS version of this one?

ho.wilson

@axelut that is fantastic please tell us when it is available we are keen to use it. Also we have a project that is currently using Paper Pro that we may want to move to the new theme, have you got some guides on how to move / upgrade from one theme to another?

Anonymous Tim thank you for your interest in our product. Yes, we have in plan to release a ReactJS version of it, this should be released in 1-2 months. Please let us know if we can offer you any other information. Best, Alex!

Anonymous Tim it's nice to know that you have another product from us. Since both of the dashboards are built on the top of Bootstrap Framework, migrating from one to another should be that hard. The best option would be to start changing the CSS and JS and then just adjust the structure of the elements, for example in PD Pro there are cards without a title, while in MD Pro there are cards with a title. This depends on what elements you want to use. All the other elements, like, buttons, inputs, dropdowns, navbars, sliders etc. will work without any additional changes. You can play with the Free versions trying to move the CSS from one to another and let us know how the things are going, we will give you tips. Best, Alex!

Hey Tim, your theme is so amazing, I'm looking forward to buy it, but I'm working on Angular 4 project, is this compatible with Angular 4?

efriandika

Hy axelut Your theme design is wonderful. But this angular version is under expectation. My team has bought this theme for angular. Under expectation? ABSOLUTELY YES I can say this version is not real Angular. It is just a wrapper for jquery + bootstrap. Everything is handled by jquery, you are using angular for routing only. Is it best practice ? NO. So, you can't say this is angular version if your core theme still in jquery not typescript. Do you have plan to create the REAL angular ?

@fastech.pk thank you for your interest in our product. At this moment, the MD Pro is compatible only with Angular 2, we will make the necessary upgrade to make it compatible with Angular 4 soon. Hope you understand the situation. Best, Alex!

@efriandika thank you for your feedback. You are right, now the product is using a lot of jQuery because of the plugins that we used in it, like dataTables.net, FullCalendar, Bootstrap Wizard, Vector Maps etc. all these plugins are using jQuery and their creators recommended to use the wrap for Angular. If we check their npms packages for Angular you will see that they are simply wrappers for jQuery. Our plan is to wait till we will find some good libraries like the one that we have based on jQuery, but to be made with pure Angular. As soon as those plugins are available we will 100% move to fully Angular and get rid of jQuery. At this moment this is impossible to be made because of the lack of libraries. If you can point us to good libraries with the same functionality like the one that we have I would be more than happy to check them. Makes sense? Best, Alex!

Hi @alexpaduraru please take a look into this one => https://github.com/brillout/awesome-angular-components. And, at least, please make your core theme code in TS. For example, sidebar navigation handling. Currently you do it just move from js to ts file. it is useless. Please convert it into TS dont use JS anymore in ng. it is not best practice. Thanks

@efriandika wow! Thank you for those resources, we will check them and see what plugins we can replace. Yes, you're right, we have to switch 100% to TS. We are learning and doing progress based on the feedback. Keep in touch!

Hi @axelut thanks, we will be testing that copy this week. More questions, will be this product jquery free? i mean, this products "should be $ free" any further pan on this? and finally i would like to know about lifetime support too! Please, tell me Where can i send my testing feedback?

alexpaduraru

@wrosb yes, MD Pro Angular will be soon jQuery free, we just got a list with a lot of plugins that we have to check and see if we can replace the current plugins that are based on jQuery. As soon as those plugins are removed, we can move away from jQuery. At this moment you are getting lifetime updates, there is no limit on this. This will also include the future Angular 4 updates and Bootstrap 4 for the interface. Please let us know if you have any further feedback. Best, Alex!

@alexpaduraru ¿Why the floating notifications in your website's demo shows an icon, but we bought the template and in that section the notifications does not shows the icons?... http://md-pro-angular2.creative-tim.com/#/components/notifications

alexpaduraru

@abeltran thank you for using our product. We've checked and it seems there is a different version of notify library on our live demo compared to the one from the archive, we will do some further tests to see why this happened and we will come with a fix for it soon. Thank you for understanding. Best, Alex!

Hi Axelut , we are having a problem with the selectbox, the tabs wizard breaks when we use inside a wizard. If you have a form I could send an attachment to show you ?

alexpaduraru
  • downloaded

@a.sinc please go to app/forms/wizard/wizard.component.ts and replace on lin 85 total_steps = $wizard.find('li').length; with total_steps = $wizard.find('.wizard-navigation li').length; This will lock the wizard to check on the li elements from navigation and will not interact with the selectpicker. Please let us know if that was fixing the issue for you. Best, Alex!

Hi, I recently bought your template. But it missing the SASS files of bootstrap framework. Instead of SASS files of bootstrap framework it shows only the compiled SASS files. I would like to get the SASS files of Bootstrap framework you used as soon as possible. Please tell me where I can get those SASS files.

alexpaduraru

@lalinda.shane thank you for using our product. Just did a quick google search, because we don't have those files in our products and found this github repo: https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap-sass They say it is the official one, please check it and let us know if that was good. Best, Alex!

lalinda.shane

@axelut Thanks for your prompt response. I would like to know whether your developers modified the Bootstrap SASS files or not.

@lalinda.shane no, we just wrote our own style over in assets/sass/material-dashboard, in this way the upgrades of BS3.x.x are done without any problems.
