Hi, We recently bought this (not from this account though). I'm having troubles changing some colors; What is the best way to change the red color of the sidebar? How to change the highlight color of nav-pills-icons? Thanks and keep up the good work!

@muhammedtraveller thank you for using our product and sorry for the late response. If you want to change the general colors please check the documentation under the "Changing Colors" section, there is a small tutorial there. Now for the sidebar colors, you can either change them with the default ones red/white/black in app/layouts/admin/admin-layout.component.html and if you want more colors you can go to assets/sass/material-dashboard/_sidebar-and-main-panel.scss starting with line 379 you will see the black background example. You can duplicate that code and add what color variables you want, all the colors are in _colors.scss and you can also create your own variable colors like $mywhite: #FFFFFF; Make sure that you compile the CSS files as it is presented in the documentation after each change that you make for style. Please let us know if this was helpful. Best, Alex!

Seems your competition is ahead of you https://***.com/angular/ "Built with Angular 2, Bootstrap 4 and TypeScript. CLI version available. Absolutely no jQuery" Your product seems nice but I think I'll go with theirs because it is jQuery free.

@thaties thank you for the information. We don't look at our competition when we build something, we are on our way and we build based on our customer's feedback and requests not on what other people are doing. At this moment our product is using around 1-2% jQuery and soon it will have 0%. It's a free world so you can choose anything you want. Good luck with further development! Best, Alex!

I bought your product. It's perfect - thank you. But I have one question - why do you use a global css style and not using the component styling?

alexpaduraru
  • downloaded

@marc.hoch thank you for the kind words. We built the Angular version based on Material Dashboard PRO. We've got a lot of requests from the users who wanted to integrate the product in Angular and we wanted to help them. As maybe you know, or not, the product had a lot of changes from the first v1.0.0 where all the scripts were coming from our folders and not from node_modules and other things that we didn't know how to handle at that moment. Based on the customer's feedback and support we just improved the product over and over again to the current version. Now the next steps are to completely remove jQuery because we handle some elements animations with it and also to migrate the style from the global file to smaller components. Hope this information helps. We are constantly improving our products based on the feedback that we get. So if you think some other items can be done better, just let us know. Best, Alex!

Hi Axelut; I have an issue with the theme dropdown. so the issue is, when selecting an option from the dropdown and saving, it saves the data chosen from the dropdown to the database, but when you go to edit mode , the placeholder does not save, it just shows the default placeholder. For example, from user profile, users clicks the city dropdown to choose the city they live with the default placeholder “select city”, the users chooses "London" and save. "London" saves to the database, but does not store as the new placeholder, the placeholder still shows , "select city"

@a.sinc got it. I think the best option would be after you save the data in the database, to make a callback which will remove the "Select city" option or just remove it as soon as an user clicks on something else, you can see how to remove from Bootstrap Select here: https://silviomoreto.github.io/bootstrap-select/methods/ under the remove method. Please let us know if that was working for you. Best, Alex!

Hello guys, any news about jQuery free version? And really willing to buy this awesome work. I was testing a demo posted in my account but the way you integrated jQuery is not worth the pain to get this to work. You can not use multiple forms in your wizard with different components because your jQuery code does not find HTML elements.

@wrosb we are working on the jQuery free version and hope we will have something in 3-4 weeks. Removing jQuery as the core library is a little bit harder than we expected but not impossible. Hope you understand the situation. Best, Alex!

Hello guys, please can you tell me if your templates works with ionic framework?

@saul.munoz thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, we never used Ionic framework so we don't know if our products are compatible with it or not. We recommend you to get some of our Free UI kits/Dashboards and see if they are working with Ionic. Please let us know if we can help with anything else. Best, Alex!

Hello! Can i use it Material Dashboard Pro Angular 2 into a project that i'll release as open source?

alexpaduraru
  • downloaded

@mathereall thank you for your interest in our product. On the regular basis, this is not allowed because after you release the project all the people will be able to use it without paying a license, while other people will have to pay on our website to use it and this is not fair. Can you please give us more details about the project that you make and we will see if we can do something for you. Best, Alex!
