I was disappointed that many of the layouts didn't use stock material-ui components but what looked like clones of perhaps early versions? I was hoping that I could look and see how you used the stock material-ui components in a real demo application instead of look-alike clones. Do you intend to update this with a version that is more 'native' material-ui.

Hello there @glennngel and thank you for your interest in using our product. Can you please tell us which layout you think is a clone of Material-UI? Best, Manu.

Hey, where can I find Photoshop files? I purchased PRO version and on product page you stated Photoshop files are included. Thanks!

einazare
  • owner

Hello @goranuksic and thank you for your interest in using our product. The Photoshop files are included depending on the type of license that you get. As i can see in your account, you've bought the most basic license (HTML package) from us, which is the one without the Photoshop files. If you want the HTML + PSD/Sketch package, which is a different one, we can create a coupon for you just to pay the difference. Please let us know if that will help you. Best, Manu.

Hi @einazare I wrote to you a couple of days ago, because I bougth the developer package of this product, and there were no Sketch files. I have still not got a reply from you guys? Can you please provide me with Sketch files?

Hello there @nmi, thank you for your interest in working with our product. I am sorry to say this, but this product only has PSD files - there are some products that have PSD files and products that have Sketch files. But this product has PSD files as per its description. See this image: https://we.tl/t-GEvcdvYJYo (note that the image will be available only 7 days after this comment). Can you please give us some more details? Where did you read that you would get Sketch files? That is an error from us and should be solved. Best, Manu.

My client bought the Angular version but I was very disappointed when I discovered that it had jQuery in its components and I did not even use it. My client is analyzing the React version , but I wonder if this also uses jQuery.

Hello there @mario.alberto and thank you for your interest in using our product. This product, and actually the whole Material React products do not make use of jQuery. We've tried to align our product with what the community agrees upon, i.e. no jQuery inside a React app. If you are not sure about buying it, I suggest you take a look at our free demo of this one: https://www.creative-tim.com/product/material-dashboard-react . Hope this info helps you. Best, Manu.

Hello again @mario.alberto . Yes, you can get the React version. For this, can you please open a ticket on our contact form here: https://www.creative-tim.com/contact-us . You just say that you've bought the Angular Version of Material Dashboard PRO and you want the React version, and one of my colleagues from the sales department will contact you with further information. Best, Manu.

Please can I know what I will have if I buy HTML PACKAGE. WIll I have React components and editable HTML ?

einazare
  • owner

Hello @caiopimp and thank you for your interest in using our product. In the HTML PACKAGE you will get the React code, no HTML files will be included (actually - you will get the index.html file, if you've worked with react, you will understand what I am saying here). I think the board is having this issue under discussion, whether to change the name of the HTML PACKAGE to CODE PACKAGE. The name has HTML inside it, because our firm when it started, we only had HTML templates, but now we have React, Angular and Vue too, and we understand where the confusion might be. If you have further questions, please let us know. Best, Manu.

Hi, is redux built into the dashboard? Or is it up to the user to implement this? Thank you

einazare
  • owner

Hello there @andrews19 . Thank you for your interest in using our product. The implementation of the Redux is up to the user. If you haven't decided to buy this theme yet, you can take a look at the free demo of this product and see if it suits your needs: https://www.creative-tim.com/product/material-dashboard-react . They are built the same, just that the PRO has more styled components, the sidebar has the ability to have collapses etc. Best, Manu.

It's a cool project; I'm pleased with the purchase. I'm working to integrate it in a Rails+Webpack+React project, Do you have some documentation about how to split the components into a React library?

einazare

Hello there @maxruz . Thank you for your interest in using our products. I think this link could help you: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/material-kit-react/pull/18 . If not, maybe you can open an issue on github here: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/ct-material-dashboard-pro-react/issues . Also, please note that you cannot publish our product on npm, just as a private library if you want. Best, Manu.

Hi, I bought this version but there are some pages I wont need, is it any initial empty template in the project?

einazare
  • owner

Hello @javieruzc and thank you for your interest in using our product. There is no template since a template is fairly easy to do. Create a new page file and then just go inside src/routes/dashboard.jsx import your new page and add it to our routing system. You can read more on our live docs: https://demos.creative-tim.com/material-dashboard-pro-react/#/documentation/tutorial . Hope this info helps you. Best, Manu.

@einazare Hi, I have two other questions about this theme: 1. If we want to keep our customization or integrate into our existing react app, can we put our project into src folder or create a separate folder instead. 2. If we want to use redux, babel and webpack, what the best way to integrate with this theme? Thanks Stanley

einazare
  • owner

Hello there @stanleyliu1006. Without seeing what you are talking about I am not sure what advice to give to you for the first question. The second one, for babel and webpack, you will need some loaders for importing images and styles inside your app, if you;ve worked with babel and webpack I think you know what I am talking about, also you will need @babel/plugin-proposal-class-properties since in our product we have some code that is OOP style, and babel alone won't compile them, so you need that plugin as well. The best advice that I can give to you, and have seen that all of our users have agreed with me, is that, you should first take a look at the FREE version of this product: https://www.creative-tim.com/product/material-dashboard-react , and see if this is what you are looking for. This is one of the reasons that we have FREE versions, so that our users can see what they will get on the PRO products - what the structure is, how we render our components etc. For me, to add babel and webpack on the free product, it took somewhere around 20-30 minutes. I can't really speak about redux, and that is why I am strongly advising you to take a look at the FREE one first. I hope this information helps you and if you have any other question, please let us know. Best, Manu.

Hi @einazare, I bought Material Dashboard Pro React and before purchasing I have customized theme with some colors. When I downloaded and run the application I am getting the default black theme. How can I change it to white theme or what ever colors I wanted, as I customized before buying. Please help me out with this.

einazare
  • owner

Hello there @mperumalla7 . Thank you for your interest in working with our product. That plugin is for demo purposes only. In the src/layouts/Dashboard/Dashboard.jsx , you will find in the render function that we render the Sidebar component. Just change the color there. You can also read about this on our live docs: https://demos.creative-tim.com/material-dashboard-pro-react/#/documentation/sidebar . Best, Manu.

Okay ^ ^, Thank you Einazare, I like this functionality (changing theme ), how can i buy it or create the same?

einazare
  • owner

Hello again @aymenensalem . I think a good read about how to achieve this is to read this: https://medium.com/@ruthmpardee/passing-data-between-react-components-103ad82ebd17 , or if you want you can search on the internet for passing props to children. You need to pass inside a Child of layouts Dashboard (that Child would be the Sidebar FIlters) some functions that will change the state of the Dashboard layout (I called them, this.state.sidebarBackgroundColor and this.state.sidebarMenuColor - I hope you know about states in React, if not, you should take a look at a tutorial about them as well). And in the layouts Dashboard where I render the Sidebar I would do something like this: <Sidebar bgColor={this.state.sidebarBackgroundColor}... etc - you get the point. Hope this information helps you. Best, Manu.
