Hi there, I'm just looking at purchasing the full developer bundle but had a look at the free version firstly. Could you please tell me. I have had a look at the documentation and can see there is a "getting started" guide but, if you use create-react-app, is there a guide as to how to integrate the dashboard components? I can sort of work through it that I'll need to integrate the css firstly and then import the components. I just wondered if there was a guide already before I work through it myself? Also to make sure that I do it right and dont miss anything. Thanking you in advance. Andre

Hello there @andredicioccio and thank you for your interest in working with our products. There is no good or bad way of starting with our product. As one of our clients has said id: "You just need to copy and paste what you need from our product". I do not know what else I could tell you :(. Hope you'll find this comment useful. Best, Manu.

Hello. I need to verify is the license only need to pay once and can use the templates forever or is it by yearly subscription? Thanks.

sarah_averil

@einazare I see. I only need to develop one web app for one client atm. Btw, what is the difference between the HTML package and HTML + PSD package for personal license? Thanks. Regards, Sarah

Hello there, @sarah_averil. The HTML one only gets you our code, while the HTML + PSD gets you both our code and our Photoshop files for this product. Best, Manu.

Hello there @sarah_averil and thank you for your interest in working with our products. Please be a bit more specific on your question. We have two types of licenses. One is personal and one is developer. The personal only allows you to create one web application (SaaS not included) for you or your client and it has 6 months free premium support (this means you can download our updates in those 6 months and you will have a higher priority on our support) and the developer license allows you to create multiple web applications (SaaS not included) or just one SaaS application (so either multiple web apps, or just one SaaS app) for you or your clients and it has 6 months free premium support (this means you can download our updates in those 6 months and you will have a higher priority on our support). Now, when I say for you or your clients, it means you either create an app for you, either for your clients, you can't do both. Hope this information was of help. Best, Manu.

Hello, When I try to use an SVG icon for an entry of dashboard sidebar, it shows totally different icon and something just a line via import like "import BoxIcon from "./../assets/img/box.svg". I looked up to materialui icons and they all are js files with {path d} SVG components. I'm really stuck in here. Please can you tell me how can I use my icon for dashboard sidebar entries? I even tried png and still it doesn't work. Thank you.

Hello there @hitatek and thank you for your interest in working with our products. You need to create js files with your svg's, like the ones from material-ui. Best, Manu.

Hello @einazare , The problem is I tried and unfortunately it doesn't work as you can see the SVG file and the JS I created with it here: https://pastebin.com/4JWz6te6 Can you tell me please here I'm doing wrong or can you tell me a tool to make is automatic? Thank you

einazare

Hello again @hitatek . You can simply do this by creating an plain React function with the svg code (I could exaplain a bit better on Github this)://// import React from "react"; function YourSvgName() {return (<>your svg code here</>);}; export default YourSvgName; ///// and then import this where you want it. Makes sense? Best, Manu.

@einazare Hi, I've been trying to get lazy-loading to work, but I really don't know how to get it working. I would like to use lazyloading on sidebar, so that it would only load my components when they are chose from sidebar. I keep getting error that component should be a string but an object was received.

Hello there @jukkahuuskonen can you paste the error here? Or better yet, open a GitHub issue here: https://github.com/creativetimofficial/ct-material-dashboard-pro-react/issues with the necessary steps to reproduce? Best, Manu.

Ok, I opened an issue on this with steps to reproduce.

Hi. I would really be interested in seeing a file manager for this admin panel tool. Is it possible to get something like this added for the next release? Basic functionality would be: 1) List files 2) Open folders 3) Go back up a directory 4) Download/Upload files 5) Cut/Paste I understand that the backend would need to be implemented by myself. I am purely interested in the front end design being done/built.

Hello again mgb. It seems that the missing .png extension was the problem. Seeing the image, and rereading your first comment I now understand what you were looking for. At the moment we do not have Folder readers in our products. To be honest, I haven't seen any such web app. If you were kind enough to send us a web app that has that sort of technologies, it would help us to see how we could integrate such plugin in our products. Best, Manu.

mgb

That's why I am requesting it to be created. It would add a unique feature to your product suite that has been done very few times at this point. The only React component I have been able to find that does this is here (where the screenshot is from): https://github.com/OpusCapita/filemanager The problem is it very buggy (doesn't work on mobile as a perfect example). The integrations are also lacking documentation etc. Like I personally said, I am more interested in the UI side just being created and implementing the back-end hooks myself via HTTP or some other similar system.

Hello, I bought the React bundle and using Material Dashboard Pro React. I do have a few questions:- 1- How can I send a support request? 2- The Material UI version is old 3.1.x and latest is 3.7.x. When you do have the plan to upgrade? and when it will be ready? If not soon is it safe we do upgrade? 3- We notice you are not using theme provider heavily. Most of colors are directly assigned or imported from material-dashboard-pro-react.jsx. any plan to use theme provider to set color properties via theme? Thanks

Hello there @ghassanamara and thank you for your interest in working in our products. <<1) The best way to get support is to open a ticket here: https://www.creative-tim.com/contact-us.>> <<2) We do not recommend you upgrading yourself, when we'll do our update you might find it difficult to update to our latest version. In 1-3 months a new version will be released.>> <<3) At the moment we do not have time for a major code refactoring since we aim to launch new products. We do have in plan to refactor our code and make usage of the ThemeProvider.>> Hope you'll find this useful. Best, Manu.

Good morning, once I made the purchase, they sent the invoice to the registered mail? ΒΏ what difference there is between developer licenses that are $ 239 and $ 449 ?

einazare
  • owner

Hello there @akabanex91 and thank you for your interest in working with our products. The personal license only allows you to create a single web application that is not a SaaS application. The developer license gives you permission to either create just one SaaS application, or multiple web applications that are not SaaS applications. Hope this is of help. Best, Manu.

Thanks for your reply, My last question would be: Once the purchase is made, will you give me an electronic invoice? regards

Hello again @akabanex91 . Sorry for this late response, I do not know all the details on what is happening at our firm, I am merely a React Developer and a Tutorial writer. I do not know all the processes that happens at our firm, and I had to wait for a response from our board to see what is an electronic invoice and how will you get it. So, I found out, that upon the purchase, you'll get automatically on your email the electronic invoice. If you do not get it, please let us know on our contact form: https://www.creative-tim.com/contact-us . Best, Manu.
