Hello @crash_nick16 and @creativetimprince . I haven't use Typescript with React yet so i can't advise very well. But with a quick search i've found these: <<https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/react-&-webpack.html>>, <<https://spin.atomicobject.com/2017/10/31/react-typescript-basics/>>, <<https://javascriptplayground.com/react-typescript/>>. Best, Manu.

@einazare - thanks, I have been using TS with React, its just a bit easier when themes/frameworks start with it since there is a fair amount of conversion that needs to be done. https://github.com/Microsoft/TypeScript-React-Starter The above is basically create-react-app with TS Cheers.

Hello @kerimkulov_zh and thank you for your interest in using our product. You can create an API for your connection with the DB and then make some AJAX calls through your React App. Best, Manu.

Hello guys, Does this theme supports full calendar? I don't see it in demo.

einazare
  • owner

Hello @sylwesteromaszewski and thank you for your interest in our product. Because this is the free version of this product it doesn't have the full calendar plugin. The PRO version will integrate it. We are trying very hard to launch the PRO version by the end of this month. Best, Manu.

Hello guys!! I`m with a issue, I guess. So when I ran the "npm run build" command and start a server with the fonts generated I got a error in index.js, that can`t resolve this two imports: "import "assets/css/material-dashboard-react.css"; and import indexRoutes from "routes/index.jsx"; ". How I supose to get this right?

einazare
  • owner

Hello @menegat.marcelo and thank you for your interest in working with our products. You can resolve this by 1.Change NODE_PATH=src to NODE_PATH=./src inside .env file. or 2. Change react-scripts start to cross-env NODE_PATH=./src react-scripts start inside package.json. This second option would require cross-env to be installed globally. Best, Manu.

Hi @einazare thank you for your feedback. Congrats for that work, it are being a great tamplate in my react studies, it is an amazing project. I`ve change the NODE_PATH into .env file and works fine in local machine. But when I deploy the build dir to AWS servers I got an error caused by the assets path. In the Build dir the path is "/static/css/main.7010fce5.css" but into the service-worker.js the path is "/material-dashboard-react/static/css/main.7010fce5.css. My question in this point is: I have to change manually this path into the files or there is a way to do it during the build process?

@menegat.marcelo thank you for your kind words. I'm not sure how to help you here. We've never deployed on AWS. As i can see, in our build folder, the service-worker has the same path as you, but we've never had a problem with this. For deploying our products we've used github pages and heroku. Once again, i don't know how to help you here, i'm gonna do some searches, in the meantime if you find how to solve this issue, i would appreciate if you would share it. Best, Manu.

@einazare I think I have discovered the why. adding into the .env file this config "PUBLIC_URL=/" the build starts create the service-workers.js with the right path, so it is working into my AWS server. I don`t know if it is the right way to solve that but is working! :) Thank you for your time and help. Soon I`ll deploy using the heroku to see if there I`ll have this same problem or it is just a problem when uses the AWS servers to deploy. Thank you.

It's quite unclear on how to use this. I mean: I followed the tutorial and I get it up and running fine, however it's completely unclear how to use this in your own projects. Are you meant to use the entire directory as a basis and start customising the provided javascript files to suit your needs, or ..? I've noticed it in other frameworks/templates too: it's not clearly documented which files or code is part of the actual framework and which files are there simply for demo purposes.

einazare

Hello @camilleeynders and thank you for your interest in our products. You can use this template anyhow, you can use our project as a basis and start customizing it, or you can start from scratch, and only take what you need from our template. For demo purposes are only the images, which you have to change. You could say that for demo purposes are the pages as well (i mean i don't know if in a real dashboard you would have a page named Tables for example), but you can use any elements that is present there. Best, Manu.
