Why do you use { ...props } within the creation of components such as the sidebar? To that point what optimizations have been done on these components?

einazare
  • owner

Hello @sprueev and thank you for your interest in using our product. We did that so we could be able to access the props passed by the parents. Best, Manu.

How could I add an additional app within this app? I tried to add another route to the index.js routes but I am not able to reach it through the url bar. Always coming back on the main App.jsx

The codesandbox can be found here: https://codesandbox.io/s/github/kevinvugts/tabbs-web-app/tree/develop/ It's the urls: http://tabbs-web-app.herokuapp.com/ http://tabbs-web-app.herokuapp.com/discover Yuu can see that discover works for now but the normal base url doesn't go to the login.

Hello again @kevinugts . To add another app/layout to our product, you just need to add a new route inside src/routes/index.jsx. But you need to be careful where you add that route, because on our Dashboard layout (which is set to go on the / route) we make some redirects, which means that if you add your route after the Dashboard one, you will not be able to access that route. Here is an example on how you should have your routes: import Example from "path/to/Example.jsx"; import Dashboard from "layouts/Dashboard/Dashboard.jsx"; const indexRoutes = [{ path: "/example", component: Example},{ path: "/", component: Dashboard }]; export default indexRoutes; Best, Manu.

@einazare 1f1 Hi @einazare Thanks for the quick and prompt reply! I figured out how it works. I added a new path called /discover which redirects to the main component /discover/test and in my routing I use everwhere /discover/*path to go*/ Is that the correct implementation? :)_

Lets say I decided to host part of your template. All I need to do is to include "Copyright (c) 2017 Creative Tim" in the code, not in the view. Correct? Anything else?

Hello @braysh21 and thank you for your interest in using our product. Yes, that is correct. Best, Manu.

Hi @einazare : In relation to this question, and trying to be not too technical: Can I use a the free version, and extend/add content to it in order to create a product that can be sold? And as long as I keep the MIT license in its place it will be OK? Nice work :)

Hello @sergioeras , yes, it should be ok. Best, Manu.

Hi, I have a project skeleton with react, redux, sagas ... What is the better way to integrate this template to my project? I want this dashboard template, but I feel the integration will be very dificult to keep on. Do you have some tutorial or manual for my case(npm)?

Hello @davidurgosuz and thank you for your interest in using our product. Unfortunately we haven't worked with redux or sagas and we cannot help you with this. Maybe the community will. Best, Manu.

Ran 'npm run build' and copied to apache (I'm not using root folder). Things working fine in local mode but most of the styling broke with apache. I've done this a ton of times prior to using theme without issues. Could you please provide some insight.

Hello again @ricki7t i am sorry to say this, but we haven't used Apache with React as of yet and cannot help you with this. Maybe the community will. Best, Manu.

Solved the problem. I had installed material-ui/core and used a few components. Apparently they don't play well together but issues didn't appear until I had deployed to server.

So can I ask why this isn't open source ? That's preventing me from wanting to use it...

einazare
  • owner

Hello @thomamb . This product you can download for free on this website, or you can copy it from Github without us giving you permission to our repo (our repo is public). If this doesn't mean that our product is open source, could you please tell us what we would have to do so it is? Best, Manu.
