Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

Just bought this and assumed it would be Bootstrap 4 as it uses SASS and makes use of FezVrasta's bootstrap-material-design. There is a decent branch @ https://github.com/FezVrasta/bootstrap-material-design/tree/v4-dev/js so just wondering if you will be upgrading to BS4 and, if so, if you had an ETA.

Anonymous Tim thank you for using our product. Yes we have in plan to upgrade the product to BS4 as soond as Mark Otto and the Contributors of BS will release at least a stable BETA. At this moment BS 4 is in Alpha which is NOT recommended to be used inside production or live web applications because it is not stable yet. So we don't want to give to our users a product that have the Fancy BS4 name in it when we know there are high chances to have weird behaviour on different browsers/operating systems/phones/tablets. Hope this make sense for you and when there will be something stable we will 100% migrate to that. Best, Alex!

@axelut thanks for the reply. Whilst BS 4 is not production ready, when building new products it would seem unwise to choose BS 3.x when the timeline for the release of the product will (most likely) be after BS 4 is released. Essentially it would mean the product would require an upgrade too close to launch and will then be stuck on BS 3.x. In the past this hasn't caused major issues but BS 4 introduces many new concepts and features - such as the complete rewrite to SASS and the transition of panels to cards, etc. Essentially my team would much prefer to write code that will conform to BS 4 and then work with a base that can be easily updated every month with bug fixes rather than a soon-to-be out of date base that requires a shift in code implementations and build processes if an upgrade is to be made. I understand your viewpoint as you are supporting a product, and it makes sense for it to be based upon a stable base so that it can be easily supported... but the reality is that anyone buying a new design kit is probably building a new product and therefore doesn't/(shouldn't) want to write code that will be out of date in ~3 months. What would be awesome is if you made your upgrade/migration branch available to paying customers so that they can opt in to your BS 4 kit with the caveat that it is unstable and frequently changed - they could actually provide you with valuable QA feedback if you went with this approach too. (e.g. private GitHub issue access or somethin') - just a thought.

Anonymous Tim now I understand perfectly your point of view, you're right. The only problem is that at this moment there is no date for the Beta or something stable. We will think at a way to have a development ready product based on BS4 and include that on the default archive. Then the user will choose which is the best option for him. Also, the Private Repo sharing is a good idea for fixing issues. We keep in touch :D

Hi guys, I'm using django and by the time I was collecting my staticfiles, it crashed due to the fact that bootstrap.min.css has references to all the fonts (eot, svf, ttf...) I looked for the fonts directory in the unzipped assets and it wasn't there. I solved the issue downloading the fonts from github but, is this on purpose or are the fonts missing from your zip file?

matt.ginty

I believe this is due to the bootstrap-sass dependency. If you `npm install bootstrap-sass` you can include the uncompiled version of bootstrap and with that, comes any images/fonts that bs may require.

@ignacio.delamadrid thank you for the information. We didn't include Glyphycons font in the archive because we don't use them anywhere. We use Font Awesome and Material Design Icons as the base icons for the MKP. We will update the bootstrap.min.css with the one without Glyphycons so there will be no more issues. Please download the Bootstrap without those icons from this source: http://getbootstrap.com/customize/?id=bc1e2169b6e15841374d36aeb1b43567 Please let us know if that is working fine. Best, Alex!

Hi guys. I love this version. I'm finding Multiple Input File with Preview. Does this version has it? Thank you so much.

alexpaduraru
  • owner

@minhdiem1102 thank you for the kind words. At this moment we have a File Upload Preview working for 1 file and can be found in the Javascript Components -> http://demos.creative-tim.com/material-kit-pro/index.html#javascriptComponents We found this JSFiddle that can help you implement a preview for multiple files here: http://jsfiddle.net/fyneworks/2LLws/. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. Best, Alex!

Hey guys, do you plan in adding a lightbox element to the kit? I want to make some images clickable and show an amplified version of it. Do you recommend using the regular modal for that?

alexpaduraru
  • owner

@ignacio.delamadrid at this moment we don't have this in the working plan for the next update but if there will be more requests for the lightbox we will definitely add it. Yes, the regular Modal is a very good idea. You can also set "padding: 0" for the .modal-body class, to make the image look better and not framed.

Hey guys, any plan on adding flippable cards to the arsenal of MaterialKit PRO?

alexpaduraru
  • owner

@ignacio.delamadrid yes, we've got many requests from our users to integrate the Rotating Cards, so they will come 100% in the next update. We don't know exactly when the update will come (July-August) because it will be a big update with new features, components and pages. Best, Alex!

Guys, what do you suggest to do if my comments thread is very big? do you have any js functionality that can help with that scenario? maybe a "Load More" plugin? sorry about that question, but I don't know if that is out of scope for the kit.

alexpaduraru
  • owner

@ignacio.delamadrid we don't have that javascript implemented because it depends on how the user is creating the Backend (PHP, Ruby, ASP .net) and how it is generating that new content that appear when you press on Load More. We found this tutorial that can help you to load the content with Ajax: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWEgjmQgLTU Please let us know if that was useful. Best, Alex!
