Premium Bootstrap 4 Vuejs Admin Template

Product description

Vue Now UI Dashboard is a beautiful resource built over Bootstrap 4 and Vuejs. It will help you get started developing dashboards in no time. Vue Now UI Dashboard Dashboard is the official Vuejs version of the Now UI Dashboard. Using the Dashboard is pretty simple but requires basic knowledge of Javascript, Vue and Vue-Router.

Vue Now UI Dashboard was coded by Cristi Jora and the design was made by Creative Tim. The product represents a big suite of front-end developer tools that can help you jump start your project. We have created it thinking about things you actually need in a dashboard. Vue Now UI Dashboard contains handpicked and optimized Vuejs plugins. Everything is designed to fit with one another. As you will be able to see, the dashboard you can access on Creative Tim is a customization of this product.

Vue Now UI Dashboard PRO has the same design characteristics as Now UI Kit PRO, so it is quite convenient to use them together. Or you can choose between them depending on the project at hand. If you love Now UI Kit, you'll love Now UI Dashboard PRO.
Create awesome, lifelike prototypes with InVision and Now so your users can experience and give feedback on your vision!

Let us know your thoughts below. And good luck with development!

Getting started

Vue Now UI Dashboard PRO is built on top of Bootstrap 4, Vuejs and Vue-router. To get started do the following steps:
  1. Download the project
  2. Make sure you have node.js installed (preferably > 8.9)
  3. Type "npm install" or "yarn install" in the source folder where "package.json" is located
  4. Type "npm run dev" to start the development server
The repo uses vue-cli scaffolding which takes care of the development setup with webpack and all the necessary modern tools to make web development faster and easier.

Npm tasks:

  • "npm run dev" - starts a development server on localhost:8080 with live-reload
  • "npm run build" - builds the app for production with javascript minification and versioning
  • "npm run unit" - Runs unit tests located under test\unit folder. There are couple of tests written for you to get a better idea on how to run and write Vue unit tests
  • "npm run unit:watch" - Runs unit tests while listening for any changes in the project. This way you can develop new features and make sure that your old components work as expected without running unit tests every time.
  • "npm run e2e" - Runs end to end tests. The command and the setup for end to end tests is provided by vue-cli. If you need and have the necessity to write end to end tests, feel free to write them under test\e2e folder
  • "npm run test" - Runs both unit and end to end tests.

Frequently asked questions

You can use our products to create an application where the end user is charged with a monthly/annually subscription plan (SaaS - Software as a Service).
The Freelancer license is aimed at people who work on their own. It grants you the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Startup license is aimed at smaller teams. It grants you and your team (up to 5 people) the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Company license is aimed at agencies or larger teams. It grants you the right to create other licensed products base on the template that you purchase form us. This license it's compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Enterprise license is aimed at large companies with multiple projects. It grants you the right to create any kind of software, SaaS, digital products and sell them. For restrictions, please check here

Also, the differences between our 3 types of Licenses is given by the Tech Support / Free Updates availability and Team Size.

More info here.
The differences between the Free and Pro products consists of the number of components, plugins, sections, pages in each.

More info here.
You can upgrade from one license plan to the next one whenever you want simply by paying the cost difference. You only have to send us an email in which you specify the product that you have and the Order ID. We will give you an unique coupon for the upgrade.

More info here.
Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

To clarify - the dynamic site will be built in Vue.js

shanekenyon 5 years ago

Hi there. This looks amazing! We have gone down a path to implement VUE with SSR using NUXT. We also have built our development environment out using that assumption (i.e. this template nuxt-community/express-template). So the question I have is can we use your Dashboard as is? If not, is this something you'd have bandwidth to work on?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @shanekenyon Thank you for the interest in this product and glad you like the look of it. As speaking of nuxt, this template won't work out of the box with nuxt-community template because it's based on Vue CLI 3 but can be adjusted to work with nuxt. In terms of code changes there are 2 plugins that have to be slightly modified so it works with SSR. You can follow this issue for the exact changes needed https://github.com/creativetimofficial/vue-now-ui-dashboard-pro/issues/2 Regarding your last question, if more people will ask for a nuxt version, we will try to provide one but until then I could only provide help and insight on what changes have to be done so it works with nuxt. Hope this helps.

Hmm.. you guys raised the price overnight. I guess I will look for other options.

@singhkingsea can you please give us more details about the price? We had a campaign for easter with 30% discount. Is that what you've been looking for? Otherwise, we didn't change the price since the launch of the product 1 month ago. Best, Alex!

@alexpaduraru - Yes that is what I meant. Also, I would suggest that it would be a good idea for you guys to add your UI kits to NPM if possible. It will be much easier to integrate them with composer based frameworks such as Laravel.

Could this component works without internet connection (offline mode)?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @jhombert2000 Really sorry for the late response. It doesn't support offline mode by default but you can easily add it with a pwa plugin since we used Vue CLI 3 for this template https://github.com/vuejs/vue-cli/tree/dev/packages/%40vue/cli-plugin-pwa Should be simple by installing the pwa plugin then invoking it.

@cristi.jora Do you have any suggestions on a particular component or other library to enable drag/drop on the paginated table example in the repo?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @dapperj You can find some third party drag & drop components here https://github.com/vuejs/awesome-vue#drag-and-drop Since the paginated table uses scoped slots, you can declare draggable components or directives inside `el-table-column` slots and use them however you need them

Hi, I bought the template but if I run dev (after npm i), i get errors complaining about 'require': error: 'require' is not defined (no-undef) at src/pages/Dashboard/Dashboard/Dashboard.vue:297:19: 295 | tableData: [ 296 | { > 297 | flag: require('@/assets/img/US.png') ... Am I missing something? (I tried to create a github issue but the link is broken - https://github.com/creativetimofficial/vue-now-ui-dashboard-pro/issues

cristi.jora

Hi @charlierink It seems that this is a linting issue that appears in the latest Vue CLI version. The issues link can be found here https://github.com/creativetimofficial/ct-vue-now-ui-dashboard-pro/issues Regarding the error, images can also be used with links directly like this `/img/image-path` if you move the images inside `public` folder. This way you won't need to require them and get rid of the error.

Is there anything implemented with jQuery in this template? Only JavaScript and Vue?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @joao_gabriel200 Thank you for your interest in the product. Pretty much all the code in the template is pure Javascript ES6 with Vue. There are 2 jQuery dependencies which are the calendar and the vector world map. We have some small wrapper components over them. If you don't plan on using those plugins, then everything else is 100% Vue.

@cristi.jora I noticed tooltips are not functioning correctly for me. When I go to your documentation they also do not display: https://demos.creative-tim.com/vue-now-ui-dashboard-pro/documentation/#/tooltips

cristi.jora

Can you take a look at the code inside ExtendedTables ? The tooltips from there work. Also element-ui documentation can help http://element.eleme.io/#/en-US/component/tooltip Just make sure you import and declare the tooltip in the components first.

@cristi.jora Can I still use the source as the template to render data with Express 4? If so, which view Engine should I use or is there a 3rd party package I have to install to render data into the source??

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hello @dapperj That's a slightly complex topic to discuss in a comment. If you do want to render Vue inside express, it's not that simple to do the setup yourself. There is a whole documentation in Vue docs about server side rendering https://vuejs.org/v2/guide/ssr.html including setup. Depending on your needs you might or might not need this actually. Another option is https://nuxtjs.org/ which actually uses node.js and renders vue files as html. Please let me know your exact use case so I could provide more helpful information.
