Premium Bootstrap Vue.js Admin Template

Product description

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is a beautiful resource built over Bootstrap and Vue. It will help you get started developing dashboards in no time. Vue Paper Dashboard Pro is the Vue.js ported version of the Original Paper Dashboard Pro. Using the Dashboard is pretty simple but requires basic knowledge of Javascript, Vue and Vue-Router.
Vue Paper Dashboard was coded by Cristi Jora and the design was made by Creative Tim. It combines soft colors with beautiful typography and spacious cards and graphics. It is a powerful tool, but it is light and easy to use. It has enough features to allow you to get the job done, but it is not crowded to the point where you can't find the files for a specific plugin.

We like consistency and design that blends into its purpose. Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is a perfect example of our most thoughtful work. It combines Vue.js components and plugins, while looking like everything fits together. For an easy start or inspiration for you project, we have also create a set of example pages, like the user settings or usage graphics.

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is built using the same design language as Paper Kit. You can easily use them together, or pick between them depending on the project you have.

Let us know what you think and what we can improve below. And good luck with development!

Getting started

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is built on top of Bootstrap 3 (We are working on Bootstrap 4 too, it will be launched in a couple of weeks), Vue and Vue-router. . To get started do the following steps:
  1. Download the project
  2. Make sure you have node.js installed
  3. Type "npm install" in the source folder where "package.json" is located
  4. Type "npm run dev" to start the development server
The repo uses vue-cli scaffolding which takes care of the development setup with webpack and all the necessary modern tools to make web development faster and easier.

Npm tasks:

  • npm install or yarn install
  • npm run dev to start a local development server
You can find other npm tasks inside the package.json. We will list them here and explain what each task does
  • npm run dev starts a development server on localhost:8000 with live-reload
  • npm run build builds the app for production with javascript minification and versioning
  • npm run unit Runs unit tests located under test\unit folder.
  • npm run unit:watch Runs unit tests while listening for any changes in the project. This way you can develop new features and make sure that your old components work as expected without running unit tests every time.
  • npm run e2e Runs end to end tests. The command and the setup for end to end tests is provided by vue-cli. If you need and have the necessity to write end to end tests, feel free to write them under test\e2e folder
  • npm run test Runs both unit and end to end tests.

You can use our products to create an application where the end user is charged with a monthly/annually subscription plan (SaaS - Software as a Service).
The Freelancer license is aimed at people who work on their own. It grants you the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Startup license is aimed at smaller teams. It grants you and your team (up to 5 people) the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Company license is aimed at agencies or larger teams. It grants you the right to create other licensed products base on the template that you purchase form us. This license it's compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Enterprise license is aimed at large companies with multiple projects. It grants you the right to create any kind of software, SaaS, digital products and sell them. For restrictions, please check here

Also, the differences between our 3 types of Licenses is given by the Tech Support / Free Updates availability and Team Size.

More info here.
The differences between the Free and Pro products consists of the number of components, plugins, sections, pages in each.

More info here.
You can upgrade from one license plan to the next one whenever you want simply by paying the cost difference. You only have to send us an email in which you specify the product that you have and the Order ID. We will give you an unique coupon for the upgrade.

More info here.
Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

@cristi.jora - question , I just started using vue. I unzip the package and install yarn or npm and when i got to run locally i get 11 unexpected token errors in multiple files. Has this happened to anyone else? I have npm up to date.

@dilasciodev Thanks for the interest in the dashboard! Personally I have seen people only having issues with eslint which can be easily disabled in package.json. "ENABLE_ESLINT=false" Would you be willing to post an issue here https://github.com/creativetimofficial/vue-paper-dashboard-pro/issues with some screenshots so I can provide help based on your exact issue? Thanks

Thank you for getting back so quick. I posted the issue with screen grabs. I will try disabling eslint in the meantime. Thanks so much. I had no issue w the non-pro version. I'm sure it is something I did lol.

Hi, is it possible to have several level deep menu in my sidebar ? Example: a sub-link with other sub-links

cristi.jora

Hi @miranda.w.sam Unfortunately with the current implementation, this is not possible. We could possibly add such a feature in the next update. If you need this sooner, please open an issue and I will provide some tips and hints on how to implement it. I also have a "not finished" plugin and can show you code samples as well.

Anonymous Tim Thanks for finding this product useful. People who already bought this version will get free updates for the BS4 version just like Paper Kit 2 for example. (people who bought Paper Kit got free updates to Paper Kit 2). Hope this helps :)

Hi, this is fantastic. I would definitely buy the PRO if there was a TypeScript version available. I think the VueJS team is working on an official TypeScript template. Do you have any plan for this?

omidkrad
  • downloaded

I could successfully make it work by replacing Babel with TypeScript. I did not need to modify any .js files because ts compiler will allow js files, so can easily use .js and .ts files together. See here for the changes https://github.com/omidkrad/vue-paper-dashboard-typescript

Hi @omidkrad :) Thanks for the feedback. Indeed vue is trying to embrace typescript and will have great support for typescript from version 2.5 which should come out soon. Regarding a typescript version of the template, I am not sure how feasible it is to make it. A lot of vue coders prefer plain javascript over ts. If more requests like yours will come, we will probably provide such a version, but for now we rely on latest ES6 features, es linting and sass. The current dashboard is pretty modular, split up into components and pretty fast compared to other dashboards on the market. You could take a look at the source code of the free version which has mostly the same structure and coding style. https://www.creative-tim.com/product/vue-paper-dashboard

Thanks @ @cristi.jora for the quick response. I'm already using vue with TS, and the good thing about it is that TS is a superset of ES6, so any valid ES6 code just works, but you can optionally augment it with typings to get more compiler validations which will help you to write less buggy code. So my point is a TS template should work for both sides, those who want to write in plain ES6 and those who want to write in TS. The first group only needs to disable strict type checks by setting compiler option `noImplicitAny: false`.

@omidkrad Although I fully understand the benefits of TS and I fully agree with you about the super set of ES6, if we will provide a TS version it will be a separate folder/project because a lot of our current customers are yet not fully familiar with ES6. The TS above it would be too much for them . As I said, if more people are interested in this, we will probably provide it as an additional/optional option but not have it as default since it targets a limited set of users with good knowledge of ES6 + TS. Hope you get my point :) Ideally I would go the path of adding the option of types through a cli (vue-cli template) where you can choose to add or not to add typings when scaffolding a project.

Hello @cristi.jora ,is it possible to provide the vue material pro version? I can't wait to buy it.

cristi.jora

Hi @亚冰.罗 There is an almost finished free version of material version https://github.com/cristijora/vue-material-dashboard here. We will start working on the PRO version soon but it won't be released sooner than 6-8 weeks I think.

Hi, do you offer image/file upload component in the PRO version ?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @dharma.r In the current version, there is no upload component but we used element-ui for more complex components like date-pickers, selects, tags etc. Element-ui has an upload component. http://element.eleme.io/#/en-US/component/upload It can be customized a bit (css) so it has a paper theme look. If you have the template, you can see how it was done for date-picker, selects. If you struggle with that, I will try to provide an example of css for this component. Hope it helps :)

Hello, I just bought this and it doesn't work out of the box - I've spent hours trying to debug it but I still get errors: Module build failed: ReferenceError: Unknown plugin "transform-runtime" specified in "/Users/davidlung/Desktop/vue-pdp-html-psd-v1.0.0/.babelrc I read online to run: npm i babel-plugin-transform-runtime npm i babel-preset-stage-2 npm i babel-preset-es2015 but it still doesn't work. I'm using nvm if that matters. David

@davidchl Hi there. Very sorry to hear that. I saw you opened an issue on github. I will do my best to help you solve it asap. So far only 2 people had issues upon installation but they were mainly due to conflicts when using yarn together with npm.
