Premium Bootstrap Vue.js Admin Template

Product description

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is a beautiful resource built over Bootstrap and Vue. It will help you get started developing dashboards in no time. Vue Paper Dashboard Pro is the Vue.js ported version of the Original Paper Dashboard Pro. Using the Dashboard is pretty simple but requires basic knowledge of Javascript, Vue and Vue-Router.
Vue Paper Dashboard was coded by Cristi Jora and the design was made by Creative Tim. It combines soft colors with beautiful typography and spacious cards and graphics. It is a powerful tool, but it is light and easy to use. It has enough features to allow you to get the job done, but it is not crowded to the point where you can't find the files for a specific plugin.

We like consistency and design that blends into its purpose. Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is a perfect example of our most thoughtful work. It combines Vue.js components and plugins, while looking like everything fits together. For an easy start or inspiration for you project, we have also create a set of example pages, like the user settings or usage graphics.

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is built using the same design language as Paper Kit. You can easily use them together, or pick between them depending on the project you have.

Let us know what you think and what we can improve below. And good luck with development!

Getting started

Vue Paper Dashboard PRO is built on top of Bootstrap 3 (We are working on Bootstrap 4 too, it will be launched in a couple of weeks), Vue and Vue-router. . To get started do the following steps:
  1. Download the project
  2. Make sure you have node.js installed
  3. Type "npm install" in the source folder where "package.json" is located
  4. Type "npm run dev" to start the development server
The repo uses vue-cli scaffolding which takes care of the development setup with webpack and all the necessary modern tools to make web development faster and easier.

Npm tasks:

  • npm install or yarn install
  • npm run dev to start a local development server
You can find other npm tasks inside the package.json. We will list them here and explain what each task does
  • npm run dev starts a development server on localhost:8000 with live-reload
  • npm run build builds the app for production with javascript minification and versioning
  • npm run unit Runs unit tests located under test\unit folder.
  • npm run unit:watch Runs unit tests while listening for any changes in the project. This way you can develop new features and make sure that your old components work as expected without running unit tests every time.
  • npm run e2e Runs end to end tests. The command and the setup for end to end tests is provided by vue-cli. If you need and have the necessity to write end to end tests, feel free to write them under test\e2e folder
  • npm run test Runs both unit and end to end tests.

You can use our products to create an application where the end user is charged with a monthly/annually subscription plan (SaaS - Software as a Service).
The Freelancer license is aimed at people who work on their own. It grants you the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Startup license is aimed at smaller teams. It grants you and your team (up to 5 people) the right to use the purchased product only for one project (either yours or for a client). This license is not compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Company license is aimed at agencies or larger teams. It grants you the right to create other licensed products base on the template that you purchase form us. This license it's compatible with SaaS-based projects.

The Enterprise license is aimed at large companies with multiple projects. It grants you the right to create any kind of software, SaaS, digital products and sell them. For restrictions, please check here

Also, the differences between our 3 types of Licenses is given by the Tech Support / Free Updates availability and Team Size.

More info here.
The differences between the Free and Pro products consists of the number of components, plugins, sections, pages in each.

More info here.
You can upgrade from one license plan to the next one whenever you want simply by paying the cost difference. You only have to send us an email in which you specify the product that you have and the Order ID. We will give you an unique coupon for the upgrade.

More info here.
Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

Very nice work indeed, perhaps the best I've seen! May I ask if Material Kit Pro has (or will have) the following components: DataTables, VectorMap, SweetAlert, Wizard, Mini Sidebar, FullCalendar that are included in Material Dashboard Pro Theme?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @panos.tzavelis Glad you like the work we do here. This exact template is a Vue.js version, while Material Kit is a html+jquery version.Regarding your question, Kits usually include presenational stuff such as different pages and examples that an end user will see and use on a website. Some examples are product pages, shopping carts, plans, registration login and so on. Kits include some table components but don't include sidebars, calendars and vector maps. On the other hand we have dashboards which are usually used by people who manage the content of the website or maybe even end users depending on the website. Dashboards include various components that help modifying the content (tables, wizards, sidebars, complex forms, charts, notifications etc). I would suggest defining the scope of your next website/app and based on that decide to go for a kit/dashboard or even both :) Hope this helps

Hi guys, Truly amazing job on this one ! One thing is bugging me though : why the dependency to jQuery ? Anyway to get rid of it, if we don't use the components that need it ? (I'm guessing npm uninstall jquery is the easiest way to go) Thanks

Hi @benjamin.gillman. Thanks for the kind words :) Regarding the jquery dep, it is only used for the calendar component and the world map. Its imported locally in those components only. If you don't need/use these 2 components you could simply uninstall or delete the dependency from package.json. We would love to get rid of jquery but unfortunately there are no good Vue alternatives for those 2 plugins yet. Hope this helps and have a great day!

Thanks for the answer. Just wanted to mention also a small typo, name of global Components is gloablComponents.vue (same in the import).

Hi, I was looking a very nice efect (a white-transparent area) for hover and selected links in the sidebar menu of the new templates released. Is it planned to add this effect to the Vue version?

sorry, my name is Juan, don't know why it appears as Anonymous :-(

Hi Juan. No worries about the name. Maybe you were not logged in. Regarding your question, I don't think we will add that effect to this exact theme. We will release a new PRO Vue dashboard which will contain that effect. Here is the free version https://www.creative-tim.com/product/vue-light-bootstrap-dashboard If you already have this theme and want that effect, I would suggest looking into the code of the free version from the link above and copy the styles regarding that part. Hope this helps :)

hi can you suggest best suitable hosting for vue js also can you confirm if there is any further development going on vue templates? paper dashboard pro is excellent can we have data tables in vue http://demos.creative-tim.com/material-dashboard-pro/examples/tables/datatables.net.html

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @mitulyom Regarding hosting, if you stay with a static website (as it is setup now), you can deploy it anywhere (heroku, aws, azure, netlifly, now etc) If you want to use vue-router in history mode, then any provider that supports node.js would be suited. Heroku is the easiest in this case since there are many blog posts on how to deploy vue.js apps on heroku. As a side note, we use gh-pages with a custom domain. Just pick a hosting that you are confortable with and use that :)

As for data-tables, element-ui tables have pretty much all the functionalities that datatable has. If you want something more out of the box, you could use https://njleonzhang.github.io/vue-data-tables/#/quickstart It is built on top of element-ui and has some features built in but is not very customizable.

* How soon until Bootstrap 4 is released? * If we buy now, will we get free access to the bootstrap 4 version? * Will the API stay the same so we could start integrating with this version, then swap out for bootstrap 4?

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @jnarowski Realistically, the BS4 update will be in the first month after New Year. The update will be free. It will simply be an update that you can download. The component api will be kept the same but the css/sass files for components might change a bit. If you want to upgrade easily then its not recommended to change them but rather create new sass files. From my perspective, you could start on BS3 and update later on without many problems.

jnarowski 6 years ago

@cristi.jora thanks! Does it depend on jQuery or just VueJS? I just bought it might return if it depends on jQuery.

cristi.jora

There are 2 plugins that depend on jquery: Calendar and world map. The rest is pure vue components. Would love to use vue for everything but those 2 plugins dont have good vue alternatives yet

@cristi.jora also I just purchased the pro, but it's not showing up in my downloads. Just the 2 free versions I downloaded.

@alexpaduraru could answer your question here. My assumption is that it might take a while until the payment is confirmed. Don't worry about it, worst case the product will be added manually to your account.

@jnarowski thank you for using our product. Can you please let me know the order id? I've checked and couldn't find any order for the email that you used on your current account " @jnarowski ". Did you use another email for the purchase? Best, Alex!

@cristi.jora also I just purchased the pro, but it's not showing up in my downloads. Just the 2 free versions I downloaded.

jnarowski 6 years ago

@cristi.jora ok got it downloaded. To be sure, when you add bootstrap, you'll be changing out just the bootstrap version and sass/css files? If I go ahead and start integrating with this current version, I want to make sure a lot of the core project and component structure won't be changing. Maybe it's better to take this issue offline and correspond directly about it? I want to get started on my app, but don't want to waste a lot of time if BS4 is going to change a bunch of things. I'm glad you're updating though, BS4 seems like a must for starting a new web app.

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

@jnarowski The core won't change. Only the scss for some components and some other minor changes to markup (col-12 instead of col-xs-12 for example) We finished another PRO version for Vue.js which will be released directly on BS4 and it has the same structure as this version.

joaos 6 years ago

Hi there. Great template! Does it come with internationalization already configured (by using, as an example, vuex-i18n)? By looking at the documentation I can't find anything related.

cristi.jora
  • downloaded

Hi @joaos Unfortunately this template doesn't come with i18n or even vuex. Since most of the pages are presentational, it will be more work for developers to remove the i18n code at the end. If you need some support on that, I can help you with internationalization and steps to add it.
