How does contractor payment work on Deel?
Deel makes it easy for contractors to send and receive payments through a variety of channels, including bank transfers, e-wallets (Wise, Coinbase, PayPal, Payoneer, and Revolut), and the Deel Card. To facilitate simple access to funds anywhere in the world, Deel has partnered with leading banks and payment processors. This allows contractors to choose the most convenient and cost-effective payment method for them, with options ranging from immediate to up to 7 business days.
How does employee onboarding look like on Deel?
Employees receive links through which they can sign up and create an employee account on Deel. Once the account is created, Deel will provide detailed instructions on all the information and documents needed for the employment agreement, depending on each country’s regulations. You may also be required to take a medical examination at certain Deel partners (e.g. Medicover in Hungary) or complete a Health and Safety training before you are officially onboarded, depending on the country you are residing in.
Does Deel support 2-factor authentication?
Yes, 2-factor authentication is automatically set up on Deel. It is recommended to use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Logging in with a temporary password sent via email is also possible, but without 2FA, no sensitive actions can be performed.
