Smells like drama in the crypto world 🤡 (not that it's anything new).
John Deaton, the founder of legal news publication called Crypto Law, issued a call to action to his 245,000 Twitter followers on March 5, saying that all companies in "active litigation" with the SEC should collaborate and develop "coordinated strategies," calling the whole thing a war.
Pro-crypto advocate and legal representative for XRP holders John Deaton called on the crypto community to unite in the face of the regulatory threat unleashed by the SEC. "It's time for the crypto community to think out-of-the-box and get organized," says the lawyer. As an example, he cites the opportunity for all companies affected by the regulator's actions to meet, exchange ideas and develop coordinated strategies.
According to Deaton, the SEC's recent actions represent a full-blown war on the crypto market, with everything coming under the regulatory umbrella regardless of whether it's a security, who distributed it, or what the specific circumstances are. Yikes.
In the past, because of Deaton's actions, permission to participate in the Ripple lawsuit against the SEC has been secured for approximately 3,000 XRP holders. However, in a class action lawsuit against the regulator, the attorney was able to collect over 75,000 investors who suffered losses as a result of that investigation and subsequent legal action.
The SEC's case against Ripple, now in its third year, is perhaps one of the central battles between regulators and the crypto industry not only in the US but around the world. According to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, the long-awaited end of the case could come as soon as this year.
We’ll see about that! 👀

Hi! Rolling Loud is a hip-hop music festival that in just 8 years (about 2 of which were affected by COVID-19 restrictions) has managed to achieve international festival status with a presence in the US, Asia and Europe.
February was not only an anniversary month for co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler, but also the festival's official connection to the blockchain with the launch and integration of Loud Punx NFT.
The collection is a PFP collection and was originally conceived as "trait-based" to provide lifetime public access to the festival anywhere in the world, with those of specific rarity offering a number of extra benefits, including VIP access. Since the traction at the time of mint was not as expected, the token issue was reduced from 5,555 to 2,435, and all existing NFTs now offer VIP access. In addition, the intellectual property rights revert to the holders, who can use them freely for personal and commercial purposes (for any revenue up to US $100k).
To someone unfamiliar with the qualities of NFTs, offering VIP access to all events in perpetuity is unsustainable. But, aside from the 3,652.5 ETH (just over US $6 MM) generated at launch, pioneering a web 3 concept (which, btw, can spawn a host of other ideas) using a technology that has yet to reach a minority of the world's population is a natural move.
In addition, often the total number of NFTs is 1% of the audience. And if we look at the current distribution (46%) and take into account that most owners will use NFTs quite rarely, the cost of market acquisition is tiny.
Imagine that in the next decade, Rolling Loud x Loud Punx will be among the companies with the largest database of NFT integration in event planning. And the big players will always go to those who can generate the most sustainable path to ROI.
Until next time, see you at the NFT Bucharest Warm Up.
bd frens - it comes from romanian version of good morning (buna dimineata). Just as we have gm frens or recently, bj frens, it's about time we had bd frens! More on NFT Bucharest Warm Up!
Seize the memes of production - if we want decentralization, it's time to take "tools, land, and factories" into our own hands. In Web3 it's simple: to do this we started with what was most handy, namely meme culture. Thus, by taking over and owning the memes we have the chance to "get our hands on the means of production".
💸 Sale of the week
Mongraal, real name Kyle Jackson, is an 18-year-old and one of the best Fortnite players in the world. He retired in December 2021, with a net worth of around $3-$4 million. He has about 2.1 million followers on Twitter, 4.2 on Instagram, and about 5 on Twitch. He's the high scorer on BAYC's Dookey Dash game, receiving the only gold key for the job. A few days ago he sold it. For 1,000 ETH. $1.6 million. He's also well-educated because he chose to pay full royalties! Maybe the kids should be left to play. Who knows what they accomplish "in their play"....
