It will be also cool to keep white-space consistent across files. See example here: http://dropshare-juanda.s3.amazonaws.com/EnRMOVjsoc.png

@juanzuluaga thank you for your attention to details, can you please send us the name of the code editor that you use to see the white-spaces? We use Coda 2 and Sublime for editing and they are not highlighting the white spaces.

@axelut I'm using VIM, but you can configure any text editor to show whitespace. Here's for Sublime -> http://sublimetexttips.com/show-whitespace-sublime-text/

@axelut It doesn't mean that the SCSS files can be executed, just that the files have the wrong permissions level. Some CI tools might complain. You can see that on your command line when you run "ls -lh". The files that have an "x" in their permissions, are executables. http://dropshare-juanda.s3.amazonaws.com/zp3vm9bvn0.png

@juanzuluaga many thanks for the information. Do you know any quick fix for this? We didn't see this kind of issue till now. Keep in touch!

I used the following - works on Linux and Mac. changed directory to the assets directory and then did a find for files only, and ran chmod -x on them to remove the executable bit. [email protected]:~/scratch/x_lbd_pro_html_v1.0.1/assets/sass/lbd$ find . -type f -exec chmod -x \{\} \;

I quite like the panels that the SB Dashboard has along the top of their dashboard for displaying important factoids. I tried recreating those in LBD but ran into issues. If I use a similar route to the SB Dashboard I start clashing with the panel CSS in LBD. If I go the native LBD route of using Cards I don't think the presentation is quite right. Before I start defining my own card CSS (since I think that is the correct way to go in LBD) Were you thinking of incorporating something similar to that?

I did do my own CSS - sitting on top of cards - actually worked out quite well I think.

@ed.groenendaal glad that you found a solution, I will send you an email to get more details about how you implemented the "factoids" and if you're ok with this, we can use your solution for other developers who got LBD Pro.

@axelut Enjoying the Pro theme but I am having issues with a vanilla bootstrap modal rendering with a z-index behind the modal-backdrop. If I remove the light-bootstrap-dashboard.scss, the modal renders perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://getbootstrap.com/javascript/#modals

Appeared that there was an issue with the modal handler being nested within the body.wrapper. Problem solved!

axelut

@nblake989 thank you for pointing out. Yes, you have to add the modal div outisde of the ".wrapper" div because we use ".wrapper" as a big block which is moving on the left side when you click on the burger menu for small devices. Using the CSS3 "translate" properties they create a conflict with the "fxed position" of the modal. Glad that you put it outside and fixed the issue. If there is something that we can help you with, just let us know.

Great work with the dashboard guys. I love it so far. Btw, how can I find out if the next version/patch is available. Are there any newsletters going out?

Hey! It's look like you made an amazing job. I want to use it for my startup dashboard. I will prefer to write the client with AngularJS, Do you have any experience doing that? Thanks :)

axelut

@avi.sharvit we are glad that you like our product, unfortunately we don't have anybody with experience in AngularJS in our team. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. Best, Alex!
