Premium Bootstrap 4 Admin Template

Product description

Light Bootstrap Dashboard PRO is a Bootstrap 4 Admin Theme designed to look simple and beautiful. Forget about boring dashboards and grab yourself a copy to kickstart new project! It is the easiest way to save time and money for your development.

What it is

Light Bootstrap Dashboard is built over Bootstrap 4 and it comes integrated with a large number of third-party apps redesigned to fit in with the rest of the elements.

If you want to see the basic version of the dashboard, please check out this link.

This product came as a result of users asking for more functionality than the basic version. We developed it based your feedback and apps you are building. It is very powerful tool, that will allow you to build products ranging to admin panels to content managements systems.

What it isn't

The Light Bootstrap Dashboard PRO is not a bloated-up bundle full with stuff you don't need. We actually take pride in the amount the stuff we didn't add to it. You will only find the stuff that you actually use in this product. No 8-levels navigation nobody uses, no irrelevant boxed layout, no drag and drop for cards(seriously, who goes around moving the display of his panel everyday?).

This dashboard is not something that you will grab and maybe use at some point. It is not a boring old tool and it is probably not what you already have in your project. It is the key to developing your next product.

Special thanks

To create this dashboard, we used already existing tools from awesome developers. We want to thank them for creating cool stuff and support them in the future:
We hope you will go great stuff with this tool. We look forward to hearing your thoughts, suggestions and feedback!

Also, the differences between our 3 types of Licenses is given by the Tech Support / Free Updates availability and Team Size.

More info here.
The differences between the Free and Pro products consists of the number of components, plugins, sections, pages in each.

More info here.
You can upgrade from one license plan to the next one whenever you want simply by paying the cost difference. You only have to send us an email in which you specify the product that you have and the Order ID. We will give you an unique coupon for the upgrade.

More info here.
Yes, of course! You can use the PRO product for an open source project if you add in the Readme file (on github) or in the description of your product that you built the project using “X product from Creative Tim” and a link to the product page.

More info here.
You don't have any restrictions using the Enterprise License; you just cannot create products or businesses that are in direct competition to us using our products:

  • You can’t re-distribute the Item as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items. You can’t re-distribute or make available the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. For example: You can’t license an item and then make it available as-is on your website for your users to download.

  • You can’t use the Item in any application allowing an end-user to customize a digital or physical product to their specific needs, such as an “on-demand”, “made to order” or “build it yourself” application. You can use the Item in this way only if you purchase a separate License for each final product incorporating the Item that is created using the application. For example: you can't create a website builder.
Depending on the License you purchase, you can use our products to either code a website/web application for you, for a client, or for multiple clients, which will be hosted on one or multiple domains:

  • For example, if you purchased the Freelancer License or Startup License, you can create only one website (for you or a client). Same, if you have multiple subdomains, like "test.yoursite.com" or "dev.yoursite.com", you can use the Freelancer License or Startup License.

  • If you want to create multiple websites, you will need a bigger License (like Company or Enterprise). Same, if you have a complex application like a SaaS and have "client1.yoursite.com" and "client2.yoursite.com" and "clientx.yoursite.com", you will need a multi-domain License like Company or Enterprise.
Depending on the License type you purchased, one or more developers (from your team, for example) can access the product:

  • If you purchased the Freelancer License, only you (one developer) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Startup License, up to 5 developers (including you) can use the product.

  • If you purchased the Company License, up to 20 developers (including you) can access the product.

  • If you purchased the Enterprise License, you can work with a bigger team - more than 20 developers can access the product.
Here are the steps to give product access to your team members.
It consists of the product technical manuals like getting started, build tools, and it also describes every component with code examples.
It means that you receive access to the entire code for HTML, JS, and SCSS files depending on the different packages of each product.
When you buy our products you have access to our Support Team so you can submit any ticket to us regarding product functionalities and bug fixes (learning and tutorials related requests are not included). You will get responses directly from the product’s creators in 24 hours for regular Support and in a couple of hours for Priority Support (during business days).
Depending on your license type, you have a determined period when you receive product updates that include bug fixes and new features.

More info here.
Please send us an email at [email protected]. We will send you an upgrade coupon for your desired Bundle, and you will only pay the price difference.
Yes, you can. It is available for all Licenses type as long as the support included in the License is still valid.

I'm pretty sure that all LBDP javascript code is injected properly as you can see here http://snag.gy/V6xsZ.jpg. I've traced js execution and in line 82 of light-bootstrap-dashboard.js image_src gets undefined, but $sidebar is an object. Dumping its contents to console it gives the following: m.fn.init[0]

Anonymous Tim I think you found the solution with the directives. We'll talk on the next comment thread :-)

@alexpaduraru , I remember that Angular + Jquery integration is better achieved using directives. I've managed to create a simple directive called sidebar-image which does exactly the same as data-image. I guess the same applies to other jquery plugins (chartist offers this alternative). Have you considered the possibility to port some of these plugins to angular directives?

alexpaduraru
  • owner

Anonymous Tim thank you for the information. We didn't think about this yet because there were not so many request for the Angular Version. Are you interested in sharing the directives that you created with other users from creative-tim.com? If yes, please contact us on [email protected] and we can talk more about this.

@alexpaduraru I will gladly share everything I can, but beware I am by no means an angular expert. Perhaps this could be an opportunity for other users to chime in as well...

alexpaduraru

Anonymous Tim I've got it, but I think you can save some time for the users who are working with Angular, so let's do it :D If it is not too complicated for you to share what you've done, I think everybody will appreciate.

@alexpaduraru no problem. As soon as I accumulate a few directives I'll post them, or send them to you. So far I've made only one. In the meantime I have successfully circumvent all problems with Jquery and Angular. My big problem was Angular's routing system UI-Router. As long as I manually re-inject all external .js files in each view, all problems disappear. I have not tested the charts yet.

Anonymous Tim that's awesome. We will wait, if everybody would put a small brick on Angular, we can make LBD Pro better :-)

@alexpaduraru Hi Alex, I've sent to Cristina a markdown document with some of my adaptations. Hope you find it useful. It's a still a WIP. Let me know what you think.

Anonymous Tim thank you so much! Cristina told me about the document and we've checked it. It looks like it's a very good starting point for the Angular conversion. We didn't know that converting a HTML/CSS template to Angular is so difficult. Can't wait to see the next update that you have <3 Thank you so much!

Hi there, I'm using the dashboard pro template with lot's of tables. Therefore I use the data-tables. However, I have the problem that when you set a height for the bootstrap-table and disable pagination, so that the entire liste is scrollable with it's height, this is not working and I don't know why. I use data-height with e.g. 500 for a height of 500px. E.g. http://issues.wenzhixin.net.cn/bootstrap-table/#options/aligning-columns.html Is this supposed to work? Jan

Hi @seesicht thank you for using our product. We've checked and it looks like you need an extra class property for the scrolling part. Can you please go to the end of light-bootstrap-dashboard.css and write this code: ".fixed-table-body{ overflow-y: scroll; }. Then everything should work fine. Please send us a link to your product or a print screen if this is not fixing the issue.

Hi there, and I also noticed that when using data-icon-size="sm" there is no css value for .input-sm in ligh-bootstrap-dashboard.css. However if using data-icon-size="lg" there is a value for .input-lg in ligh-bootstrap-dashboard.css. .button-lg and .button-sm is also in the css. So .input-sm is missing.

seesicht
  • downloaded

@ @alexpaduraru the file ligh-bootstrap-dashboard.css has some css for .input-lg. That's why data-icon-size="lg" results in proper display for the button and the input. .input-sm is not in the file, but there is CSS for .button-sm. So the button is displayed correctly, but not the input. How can I attache images because the website is local and so I cannot post an url.

@seesicht the ".input-sm" value should come from the original bootstrap.min.css, we didn't change that value. Can you send us a print screen so we can check and give you a fix if it is not taken from the bootstrap.min.css? Best, Alex!

I think we should add something like .input-sm { height: 30px; padding: 5px 10px; } to light-bootstrap-dashboard.css

alexpaduraru
  • owner

@seesicht that's great, we will add it and it will be available for everybody in the next "fixing update". We will check also the issue that you open on github and come back with a solution. Thank you!

I added this i GitHub Issue, but wanted to post here to see if there was a better path towards an answer: It appears that in my implementation and the LBDP Live Preview, the lowest item in the sidebar menu when on the right side (in SM and XS grids) are not available for selection or clicking due to the safari native navigation bar covering the bottom. Perhaps blank space is needed at the bottom of the page or perhaps a meta tag to help handle mobile device browsers?

This behavior is not seen in a chrome device inspector on desktop, only in the iPhone device or device simulator.

@nblake989 thank you for pointing out, we already responded with a quick fix on github. Stay tuned for the update :-)

Hi! @axelut We are about to buy this template. Will be doing some changes. Thought it will be better to wait for the update. Can you estimate when it'll be ready? Is it a couple of days, or a month or two? This is a major production so we need to now. When you release an update do you release a changelog also? Just thinking about how hard it will be to implement the changes after we buy this template and redesign it for our needs. Cheers

axelut.alex

@michał.majki thank you for your interest in our product. If you are talking about the updates that we promised here in the comments for the latest issues, they were released on the 1st April. At this moment we don't have any open issues. Yes we release changelogs for each update, if you want to see them please go upper in this page at the "Product Description" press on view more and at the end of the description you will see the changelog. If you will create your own CSS/JS files and add your custom changes, then our updates will not affect anything of your code, so updating the product means changing our old CSS file with a new one and our old javascript libraries with the new ones. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. Best, Alex!

michał.majki

@axelut so the best way would be to leave all the original files, and just add our custom styles and js? That way an update won't be so much problematic in a way?

axelut.alex

@michał.majki that's the best way :D

Anonymous Tim Where would I find a changelog with documented theme/repo changes? I just downloaded v1.2 and wanted to inspect major changed areas before starting my upgrade to know what has been modified and how my customizations to the theme will be handled. Thanks!

alexpaduraru

@nblake989 please go upper in this page on the Product Description press on View More and there at the end of the description there will be the change log. Sorry for the complicated flow, we will try to make it "more visible" on this page and in the dashboard. Best, Alex!
